The pizza was served fresh. It was floppy, greasy and doughy. Decent flavor but nothing to drive an hour for. I'd eat it again if I was close by and needed a pizza fix.

Stopped in on a cold January day. Not much of a line and I got the two slices and a drink for $8.99. Great pizza. Friendly workers. Hassle free and got exactly what I expected. You can't ask for more than this. Great visit.

One of my old coworkers, who's also from NYC, recommended Rojas Pizza to me, saying it's the closest you'll get to authentic NYC pizza in Jacksonville. Naturally, I was excited to give it a try! I went during my lunch break and ordered two plain slices, hoping for that familiar NY-style taste. The pizza was definitely good, and it did remind me of the classic NYC slice, though it's hard to fully compare it to the real thing (if you know, you know). That said, it was still delicious, and I'll definitely be going back for more. I visited around 3pm on a Monday, and it wasn't busy, so the service was quick and easy. The only downside is their limited hours--they're only open the same hours as the courthouse across the street, which makes it a bit tricky to visit if you don't plan ahead. Still, for anyone craving a solid NY-style slice in Jacksonville, Rojas Pizza is worth checking out!

It's a very unassuming place from the outside. Inside the decor is very minimal and a couple of booths and about 13-14 tables with 2 chairs each. Had to be at the courthouse so tried this place since the proximity was so close. They had plenty of specials so I got the 2 slices of any pizza and a drink for total about $10. I asked for a pepperoni with mushroom and a chicken Alfredo. They cut your slices then heat them in their ovens which gave a little char to the very thin crust. You walk down pay give your name and they call you when it's ready. The service was very quick and efficient to get through the guests very quickly. It was only a 5-7 minute wait. The chicken Alfredo pizza was so creamy and the cheese pull was great. It could have used one more ingredient maybe spinach or something along those lines but even as is I would definitely get it again. The pepperoni and mushroom was great as well. The pepperoni had a slight crisp and was spiced well. I would and WILL definitely come back again.

Downtown Pizza Joint right across from the court house. It's the only eatery as soon as you walk out. Their service is NY-style large slices with 2 slice & soda or 1 slice, salad, & soda deals $8.99. I've been here for about an hour and have seen almost 50 people come in out. The pizza is delicious and the crust is nice and crispy. I had to place a to-go order for a large pie. It was only $16.99. This is not fine dining, but you can find a seat. There are tables and chairs. Mixed group of people from the Homely looking to upper class lawyers.

I love this place. I've gone here for over a year now and always think I've given them a review on Yelp. Sadly, I start only to stop and devour more pizza instead. Now days after my last visit, I will do what should have been done around 360 days ago. That is, say if you miss New York slices or Pies or Calzone, stop in Rojas Pizza right across from the Jacksonville Court House. They are really a lunch pizza place because of their location. I work close to this area but leave work before they close at 5pml and bring home a few days' worth of pizza for my 3 sons, wife and I. I call them about 45 minutes before leaving work to make sure there is enough oven space for my order. My kids and everyone at work that has tried it loves the large Meat Lovers Stuffed Pizza. Most people are filled up after 1 or 2 slices of this culinary delight. Delicious and filling! If you like the works, the Supreme Pizza is a great choice, too. X- large pizza to go will impress any group of people you bring it to. Grandma's pizza, the Margarita, White Pizza, and just a plain cheese pizza are great for the no topping people. The wings are delicious, and the Calzones are as well. The employees are extremely nice and will help you carry the large order to your vehicle without being asked. They are located across the street from the Jacksonville Court House, and if you are in that area, grab a slice or two. Even better, grab a few X- large Pies and supply a party with great pizza! It's one of the best pizza places in North East Florida!
